• Began in June 2009 and as of 2010 Over 400 schools use Wizkid - began in New Zealand
• each individual has their own user name and password. - Safe environment to research - teachers put the safe links on to the learning platform.
• Teachers can share content, planning and resources to maintain consistent learning.
• A place to use interactive ICT resources.
• Tailored to differentiate suitably. - eg phonic phase 1,2,3....
• enhances connection with community - collaboaration with other schools - show work done, plans.
• Used for messaging & notifications.
• Can have chatrooms with other children, friends, teachers.
• Used to display movie maker clips from the childrens work.
